2 QuickBooks for Mac can import data in three ways: Via IIF (Intuit Interchange Format), Quicken Mac (2005,
2006 and 2007 editions) and Web Connect (QBO format for financial institutions). Importing data into QuickBooks for
Mac is a discrete activity, not an automatic or real-time process.
3 QuickBooks 2009 for Mac can upgrade files from QuickBooks Simple Start, Pro, Premier, and Premier Accountant
Edition 2009 for Windows; New User Edition 5.0, 6.0, 2005, and 2006; and QuickBooks Pro for Mac 4.0 (M12), 5.0, 6.0,
2005, 2006, and 2007 (U.S. versions). QuickBooks 2009 for Mac can exchange data with QuickBooks Pro, Premier, and
Premier Accountant Edition 2009 for Windows (U.S. versions, round trip: between Mac and Windows).
4 Requires paid MobileMe account available separately from Apple, Inc.
5 AddressBook and iCal are included in Mac OS X from Apple, Inc.
6 Requires Apple Mail®; Microsoft® Entourage® 2004 or 2008 for Mac.
7 Templates customized in prior versions of QuickBooks for Mac will be available but not editable. QuickBooks
for Windows templates are not transferable to QuickBooks for Mac.
8 Online services vary by participating financial institutions and may be subject to application approval,
and additional terms, conditions and fees. We authenticate your account with your financial institution, and then use
secure data transmissions between your financial institution and Intuit.
