How It Works in QuickBooks Online

The equipment that hosts your business data is housed in an Intuit-owned facility. This facility guards your data and keeps servers continually up and running with:

• 24 hour-a-day, seven-days-a-week physical security with a full time security staff, video surveillance, and alarms to prevent physical breaches.
• Uninterruptible power supply and backup generators in case of power outage.
• Smoke and flood detection and fire suppression systems.
• Fully redundant power generation.

QuickBooks Online employees do not have direct access to equipment in the Data Center, except for systems engineers who perform monitoring and maintenance-type procedures.
